I am so excited about this set! I can't wait to fire and glaze it so I can USE it to see how it works! I had my first cup of pour over coffee a few weeks ago. I thought it would be similar to a French press type of coffee taste, but, to my surprise, it was better! ooooweeeee! I did some research and decided on this design. I feel like whenever I make something that almost forces someone to slow down, it sort of brings you back in time. I guess that's because "back in the day" things used to take longer and now we're impatient with our microwave, iphones, and computers! I said all that to say that, this style coffee drinking takes time and therefore made my mind go back in time. That's why I think this set has a sort of vintage feel. The shape and handles look almost 50's to me. Glazing idea in the last photo :) Anyways, I'm excited! 5 down and 52 to go!
